PLEASE NOTE: Please read all of the following. Failure to provide all details required will more than likely result in your submission not being considered.

If you would like to submit some music for consideration, then please upload the files in .zip or .rar format to www.sendspace.com , www.yousendit.com, or a similar website, and then when you have the download code, send it to this email address: dean@rackandruinrecords.com

The audio recordings must be in .mp3 format, ideally at 192kb/s minimum, and also include a write-up about the EP / Album that you are submitting, a full band bio, and a front and back cover, should we accept your band/self. The front and back cover should be in .JPG format, using the following sizes:

904 pixels x 952 pixels = front cover
1028 pixels x 876 pixels = back cover

If we do not believe that your music fits in with the bands that interest us, then please do not be offended. Despite having an open policy, we're not huge fans of death metal for instance!

By submitting an album/EP then it is with the understanding that you own the legal rights to submit this recording, you must not submit recordings on behalf of other parties, if you have included third party samples, or sound effects (for example) in your recording, then it is understood that it is the artists duty to obtain proper permission, if, and where necessary. The artist submitting the album/EP will also agree to give Rack & Ruin the permission to upload the album, and host it on the site. Rack & Ruin will add a logo, copyright information, and RRRxxx number onto the back cover, and will amend all .mp3's to put the site URL in the comments field, and Rack & Ruin records in the publishing field. No other alterations will be made. The submitted item will remain on Rack & Ruin, and will not be removed under any circumstance.
